New steel and profile

I saw a great sale on the LS Pulse Pro Stock blades and also the opportunity to try a profile I had no tried yet. I have tried all the Quad profiles from Prosharp except for the Brent Burns Quad Zero .50. I tried out the blades last weekend and I love them and the profile..

Profiling helped dramatically

After 12 years, my old skates finally gave up. In my new ones, I was having to put conscious effort into basic skating (tight turns, pivots, mohawks, etc.). Troy's consultation was thorough and informative. He recommended a Gold P1 w/ 1" hollow and a Quad 1 P1 7/8". I tried the Gold first, and it was night and day. I could do what I wanted without being conscious of my runners. I was skating better than in my old skates, which was a nice surprise. Am I an NHL-caliber skater? No, but I can once again skate to my potential without having to constantly think about where my edges are. I'm extremely happy with the Gold and am looking forward to trying the Quad. Good Blades

Blades were good and well sharpened

Great Pro Stock steel!

Wanted to try other steel, got some moderately used pro stock blades, that still have a lot of life left in them for a recreationnal player. Price included profiling and sharpening, can't get better than that.
Finally, so far, I like these blades better than the original one on my skates.
