Both an amazing game and a funny title. I was skeptical yet hopeful that my Tydan blades would be worth the money to upgrade. I was having to sharpen my factory steel in my goal skates much more than I though was reasonable; some times more than once a week, playing three to four days a week. Not to mention loosing an edge off a post in a league game was a bummer. I can say that these things have lived up to my admittedly high expectations. I have had less trips to the sharpener. They do not nick as easy, and if i do mess them up a bit they take a stone or a skate edge tool really well. I think I can get three weeks (about ten skates) easily now. I am a happy goalie.
Holds the edge much longer than traditional blades.
Players of all ages / levels shouldn’t overlook how much a difference Tydan blades make. Performance is night and day over stock blades. More importantly the team at Tydan is first class - professional, knowledgeable, super responsive ... really a great team. Make the switch ... it is well worth it.
CARBONEDGE Goalie Blades (SpeedBlade XSG)
I thought I needed new skates, turns out I just needed to upgrade the steel. Immediately I felt like I had more glide, turning and less fatigue with Tydan blades. Would have loved a Tydan insignia or branding on the blade for looks. Unfortunately rinks have been on a hiatus since covid but in the short time I’ve used Tydan I’m happy. Bring back the TiN gold blades!
